Through an Artist-in-Residence programme, The Land We Walk On, invites artists to collaborate with the Vindolanda Trust. Living and working on-site, alongside our staff teams, volunteers and specialists; each artist is invited to undertake research informed by the Trust’s collections and climate research.
The programme provides opportunities for both emerging and established artists from a variety of artistic disciplines including, but not limited to, sculpture, film, photography, textiles, mixed media and ceramics.
The Land We Walk On is generously supported by The John Ellerman Foundation, Arts Council England and Newcastle University.
